Philadelphia improviser: Ralph Andracchio

Ralph Andracchio

Ralph is basically a newborn when it comes to improv. Living in Los Angeles from 2001-2006, he worked in the entertainment industry, holding every job from Production Assistant to Producer’s Assistant, eventually ending as an Assistant Art Director for a Showtime sketch comedy show. After moving back to Philly, he took his first improv class in 2008 as a birthday present to himself, and immediately fell in love. He’s studied under Jason Stockdale and Mark Bringhurst, earning gold stars for both Perfect Attendance and Most Hats.

In 2009, he auditioned for PHIT’s 3 Mad Rituals, their entry into the Philly Fringe Festival that year. He was completely shocked when he learned he’d been cast in the production, and may have literally crapped himself with excitement. The show was an amazing experience, and Ralph was doubly excited when he learned the 3 Mad Rituals team would be staying together and becoming a PHIT house team, King Friday.

When not performing, Ralph works at a non-profit downtown. He also paints, does graphic design, and is a video game junkie. He feels lucky to have the opportunity to work with such talented and dedicated performers at PHIT, and can only hope to be a tenth as funny as all of his friends at the theater.
